Cleaver Care Home – Extension and alteration to form a 55 bedroom home
The site benefited with planning approval for a new build scheme, however we advised the retention of the existing home to increase the commercial GDV of the scheme.
The scheme provided a modern extension to the existing period hospital annexe building and managed to increase the overall size of care home. The site is adjacent to a woods and on an elevated site with views of the coast line at higher level – so in the new extension all rooms have been designed to enjoy coastal views.
